Cap and Gown Information

For those graduating in May 2017: This newsletter has all of the information you need for ordering and picking up caps and gowns in terms of dates.  Important links and deadlines below.

Cap and Gowns need to be ordered by Friday, April 7th. Order here.  If you miss the deadline, a late fee of $10 will be charged and availability of extras are not guaranteed.

GSE Centennial Lecture Series Follow-up Discussion

Hunter College’s 45th Annual Psychology Convention: Call for Papers 2017

Hunter College is currently accepting abstracts for poster, oral (15 minutes), and symposium (45 minute) presentations.  Undergraduate and Graduate students are welcome to participate.
The deadline to submit an abstract is Sunday, March 26th at 9:00pm.

Summer Teaching Fellowship

The Practice Makes Perfect paid summer Teaching Fellowship offers Teaching Fellows the opportunity to make summer learning engaging, fun, and impactful for students who need it the most. Serving as head classroom teachers at our partner school sites in New York City, Fellows are instrumental to achieving PMP’s mission of providing high-quality summer programming. Fellows craft engaging lessons, facilitate cultural learning and serve as role models for our scholars and mentors. Teaching Fellows will arise from this rigorous and rewarding summer having gained the experience, skills, and confidence necessary to be fully prepared for a future position as an educator, changemaker, and leader.

Applications are open until March 6th.
